The Google Ads radio start conversion measures clicks that start playback, even if the stream subsequently fails to play. Clicking to stop playback does not count as a conversion. The Meta Pixel RadioPlay event measures successful playback. Each event is sent at most once per page load.
- Meta Pixel and the Google tag are loaded and events are sent only after marketing consent. Radio start clicks and playback before consent are not reported retroactively. You can listen to the radio without marketing consent.
